As he prepares for his upcoming retirement in February 2025 from the U.S. Special Operations Aviation Command, Rick is taking the leap into entrepreneurship with PatchMaster, a drywall repair franchise that not only fills a unique niche but also aligns with his values of discipline, teamwork, and community engagement.

As a first-generation Hispanic American, Rick’s story reflects resilience and determination. Over the course of his military career, he has cultivated leadership skills and a deep understanding of problem-solving—qualities that will undoubtedly serve him well in his new business. Together with his wife, Isabel, and with the support of their two adult sons, Rick is thrilled to be opening a PatchMaster franchise in the Sanford, North Carolina area.
